A Photographic account of three weeks in Canada during the peak Spring Bird Migration . One week was spent at Point Pelee on the Northern shore of Lake Erie with vists to Rondeau, Hillman Marshes and Blenheim. The remaining time we travelled from our base in Toronto to various locations incuding Long Point, Carden and Toronto Islands. Thanks must be given to my host, Ian Cannell for his assistance, organisation and enthusiasm; also to Jay Peterson and Norman Murr for their help and friendship
Hi Peter- Great Photos!!!
ReplyDeleteMany of these birds are very hard to photograph well. You have succeeded admirably. ID correction: The first Pine Warbler you have in the above series is actually a Yellow-throated Vireo. The Vireo has a much thicker bill, no streaking on the sides and blue legs. All Vireos have blue legs. No NA Warblers do. Good point to remember. Great pic.
